Palawan, Philippines 2026
A Note of Gratitude Before We Begin
None of what you are about to read would have been possible without you. Your prayers, your giving, and your faithful support made this mission a reality. On behalf of the team and every family whose life was touched in Narra, Palawan, thank you.
Where We Went and Why
In April and May of 2026, our team traveled to Narra, Palawan, Philippines, a municipality tucked in the heart of one of the Philippines' most beautiful yet underserved regions. The purpose of this trip was threefold: to preach the Word of God, to serve the physical needs of the poor and homeless, and to assess the construction needs of two unfinished church buildings that stand as symbols of faith still waiting to be completed.
What we found was a community full of warmth, resilience, and spiritual hunger. What we left behind, by God's grace and your generosity, was encouragement, nourishment, and renewed hope.
Preaching the Word
Our team had the privilege of ministering alongside local pastors in several churches throughout the Narra area. The Word of God was preached with boldness and love, and congregations responded with open hearts. We were reminded again that the Gospel is not a foreign message, it is a living word that meets people exactly where they are.
We are deeply grateful for the local pastors and church leaders who welcomed us, opened their pulpits, and labored faithfully in these communities long before we arrived and long after we left. They are the real heroes of this story.
Serving Meals and Aid to the Poor and Homeless
One of the most tangible expressions of our mission was feeding and serving those with the greatest physical need. Your donations allowed us to purchase food and hygiene supplies directly from local markets in Narra, keeping the economic benefit within the community itself.
Items purchased included: The primary staple food: rice, sardines which is a good source of protein, noodles is an easy to prepare meal, sugar, body soap for personal hygiene, and laundry soap for clean laundry.
Once purchased, all items were transported to the home of our host pastors, where volunteers worked together to unbox, sort, and pack each item into individual family food packages. It was a simple but deeply meaningful process, each box represented a family, a name, a real need. Hands that sorted soap and measured rice were doing holy work.
Packages were then distributed directly to poor and homeless individuals and families throughout the area. The response was one of genuine gratitude, and for many, visible relief.
Church Construction Assessment
Two unfinished church buildings in the Narra area have been waiting for the resources to be completed. During this trip, our team took dedicated time to assess, evaluate, and prioritize the construction needs of both sites.
We walked through each structure, spoke with local leaders, documented the current state of the buildings, and developed a prioritized list of what is needed to move each project forward. While the work of completing these buildings lies ahead, this assessment was a critical first step, we now have a clear picture of what it will take to give these congregations a permanent, safe, and dignified place to worship.
We look forward to sharing more detailed construction updates as planning moves forward. Your future support could help turn these concrete frames into thriving houses of worship.
What Your Generosity Made Possible
Here is a simple summary of what was accomplished through your faithful giving:
The Word of God preached in multiple churches in Narra, Palawan
Food and hygiene packages assembled and distributed to poor and homeless families
Supplies sourced locally, supporting the community economy
Construction needs of two unfinished churches formally assessed and documented
A Closing Word
Every trip changes us. We went to serve, but we came home having received far more than we gave. The faith of believers in Narra, the gratitude of families who received a simple bag of rice and soap, the sight of unfinished walls that still gather worshippers every week, these are the images we carry home.
This work is not finished. But because of you, it continues.
"And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up." - Galatians 6:9
Thank you for being a part of this mission. To God be the glory.

A Family Transformed: The Nanoy Family Home
Last year, your generosity helped the Nanoy family in a very practical way, we purchased roofing materials to cover their makeshift shelter, which at the time was little more than a roof over a bamboo floor. It was humble, but it was a start.
This year, one of our priorities was to return to the Nanoy family, to see the results of that investment with our own eyes and to assess whether any further needs remained.
When we arrived, we found that Mr. Nanoy had not been idle. He had taken initiative and built a new home structure on his property. It was a hut-style frame with a roof and several bamboo posts for flooring, a foundation of effort, but still very much unfinished. There were no walls. No solid floor. It offered shelter from the rain, but little else.
After reviewing our remaining budget, we were grateful to discover we had enough left over to help purchase materials to address those needs. Walls were added. A proper floor was laid. And what had been an open frame became an enclosed, dignified home.
The difference was remarkable.
We share this not to draw attention to what we did, but to show you what your donations did. You gave a family four walls and a floor. You gave them privacy, protection, and a place to truly call home.
All glory goes to God, and this would not have been possible without you.
